school supplies: are poly binders durable?

Poly binders are the very flexible ones, that always seem to be cheaper(money wise). Are they durable? or would it be better to get a different kind?

I usually buy a roll of colorful duct tape (it comes in pink purple blue, black and silver) and re-inforce the folds with that. it kind of adds a “look” to the binder if you do it new rather than waiting until the notebook is already starting to tear.

I do the same with back packs…line the bottom inside with duct tape when it is new, and it will not wear out during the year. This is especailly good with the rolling backpacks.

I use one binder for each class. It’s just easier that way but 1 binder would be fine. It’s up to you and whatever you feel comfortable with.
