Plzz Help me! i used someone’s address to go to this high school?
Well I live in newyork and i use my dad’s friend address to go to this high school which is really alot better than my zone schoo. I moved during half of my sophmore year which was last year!
Should I just tell my guidance counselor i moved to a house? won’t that be susipicious?
Is there any way district people can find out about where I live?

my school is a top state-school and to get in you have to live in the zone. we had coordinators from our school actually visiting us randomly in the mornings and looked around the house to make sure that we were settled in the zone..

Is the new address in the school district? If it is then I don’t think they’ll even research whether you’ve been living at the previous address or not. They’ll just be concerned about the new address.

your counselor has NO business in your home/private life. he/she will not question your statemnet regarding your new house, etc. THe school has no reason to believe you are lying, do they? out of hundreds or thousands of kids, they really have bigger things to worry about this.

im assuming you live in nyc
if so, dont worry, just use your dad’s friend’s address, and don’t tell anyone you don’t actually live there.
they won’t actually go check your house and evrything, so don’t worry.
