Honestly, it was not a walk in the park. that is the complete truth. But on my first day of high school, i could tell that every other freshman was feeling the same exact way i was feeling, scared. My first day was really akward and quiet. The teachers tried to make us feel comfortable at a new school but it was still hard. Everything is so new,i felt like i was in six grade again, like i was at the bottom of the school and it would be atleast 3 more years before i am at the top. At lunch, i swear, over 100 peple cut me in the line. Eventually things fell into pace and i feel at home at my school, i love it.

Tell your bro to be himself. And you probably went to high school so you should know the basics. Tell him that high school can be a really fun, if he decides to make it fun.

highschool is actually quite normal, your brother’s schedule should only consist of beginner’s classes(stuff without pre-req) sometimes those classes give you a small tour, and all pretty easy, justknow where your next class is, and they will explain everything

theres only 3 things youshould be aware of:

1) where your classes are, you should go to school early to not onlyget your schedule,but it also gives you time to find your classes,find your friends, and mainly to gove evertyone a chance to get their schedule (theres a long line that leads to the area thatpassesout everyones schedule, try to get there early so for the rest of the time, u can hang out with your friends

2) know where yourfriends are, u know where to meet for lunch andstuff like that

3) know that highschool is slightly different then middle school, the standards changesin this gap, also in middle school, all you need to do is bequiet, and ull do good, in highschool, its mainly homework and quizzes that get you good grades

visits the clubs, library, career center when you have time…go even if you are a freshmen

it was last year for me and it was a lot of fun, i remember their were alot of people, but anyway tell ur bro to have fun , relax, and be himself. high school is the best years of ur life
