Plagirism?

I know teachers have a program to track plagirism from websites, but do these programs track emails?

I write my essays, and I send it to my friend and proof read it and change it to his will to make it better.

Now, can my teacher possibly find out information from emails from their super search engine?

No. Your teacher cannot search private emails between two people. It looks from reading this like English is your second language. It’s good to get advice from someone else on your use of language, but please also make sure that your friend explains why your usage is wrong, instead of just fixing everything for you. The main point of school assignments is for you to learn, and not just for you to get good grades.

They don’t NEED a search engine – they can tell by the work that you have submitted in the past if you are using someone else’s information…

Things like too many big words (or not enough for the brainiacs), punctuation (or lack of it), and even WHAT is written can give you away ;);););)

No, you should be fine. And I don’t think most teachers would have any problem with you using a proofreader. But do get in the habit of using spellcheck. It’s easy and will save your friend and your teachers the trouble.

Possibly campus email… but I seriously doubt that they check email. They can’t.
