Our Yearbook theme is Board Games I Need some Ideas for our pages.?
Favorite Answer
what about like ‘life’ haha and then make it like ‘a day in the life of’ type of thing.
what about ‘candy land’ and then make it into the schools lunch menu?
what about ‘chess’ and it could be… prom?
Here are some ideas
Use Cranium as a constant theme between the classes by assigning each grade a category from the game:
Seniors – Star Performer
Juniors – Data Head
Sophomore – Creative Cat
Freshmen – Word Worm
You could also carry this theme through the “mug shot” pages by incorporating the subversions of those categories by adding in questions…almost as if they are playing the game while scanning through the photos.
You could also use clue in the very same way by creating a scene in the beginning and hiding clues throughout the book and revealing the mystery in the adds section or something.
The boards of the games would make fun background and you can use a common playing piece to outline the page numbers such as the Sorry game piece.
It would be cool if you could take a blueprint of you school and transform it into a board for a game and use it as the cover. It would also be cool if you actually made it a game and you handed out “game pieces” when you handed out the book.
If your theme is board games, try to make it as fun and spontaneous as possible. Have fun!
