okat tommorow at school?

i keep seeing this one kid get bullied by 3 other guys and tommorow im going to tell the guys off and tell them to leave the kid alone because the kid has a mental disorder and if u say happy birthday in front of him he chases u and these kids keep pushing him around and messing with him, should i stand up for him or let the so called school system take care of it but im good at fighting (not to brag i just am) i got into around 10-12 fights already this year but most were off campus so i didnt get suspended exept one,but if i got into fighting the kids i would i be suspended for standing up for another kid because i know u dont get suspended if its self-defense for yourself but what about if your defending another person…..does anyone know?

I APPLAUD YOU!!!!! I HATE that when people do that! I used to fight for a boy in my grade who had Cerbal Palsy and people would pick on him all of the time! I almost got into a fist fight with a guy while I was pregnant my senior year! I think that is SO WRONG for those people to do that!!! And if you get in trouble for it-oh well! You’re doing the RIGHT thing! I don’t know how your school works but my teachers knew what I was doing and thought it was a good thing to stand up for him. Good for you for caring! The world needs more people like you and I am so proud to hear a kid actually want to help someone with disabilities out! You’re a WONDERFUL kid!! I think you deserve a MEDAL!

How great that you want to help the kid. How about if you just walked and talked with the kid so that he wasn’t alone when the bullys approached? If they start giving the kid a hard time, you are right there and can verbally defend him. If someone then starts messing with YOU, it does become self-defense, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, many schools do not have effective ways of handling situations like this and the bullys rule the school until someone like you stops them.

Well, where I live, there has always been too many fights and kids using the self defense excuse that we can’t use it anymore. If you fight, you get a ticket and suspension. I think you should just tell them once to leave him alone and let them talk their s***. If they keep bothering them, just tell the sucky system and make sure you make yourself sound true and make sure you get your point through without getting mad. It’s better if you not fight for the kid, even though it’s sad that those kids make fun of him.

I wouldn’t get into a fight with those guys. If you confront them, and they don’t stop, then you want to tell the staff at school, but you can’t b/c they’ll know you ratted on them.

I know how high school was, and it’s tempting to just take care of stuff yourself, because the administration and all. But I would tell a teacher you trust or the principal. Usually they don’t want something like that to make them look bad, so they’ll take care of it.

I’m glad someone is looking out for the guy!

i think you should try to stick up for the kid because that is a nice thing to do and if you get into a fight it will be for a good reason. i am not sure about the supended thing because that has never happened to me. i have only gotten into a fight that was self-defense for myself, not anyone else. but i hope you figure out what to do. i wish you good luck and God Bless You and the Kid

Don’t try to do it yourself. Do you want to be a bully? Tell the principal or a school counselor. Be looked up at as a role model, not bloodied on the ground.

Take care…I hope all goes well.
