Missing textbook?

All Freshmen share a locker with someone. My locker partner was letting a 3rd person use the locker every 6th period without me knowing. 2 days ago, the third peson took my literature textbook because he lost his (He didn’t ask me to take it, because I didn’t know he was using the locker at the time). My original locker partner told me that the 3rd pesron used my book. I asked the 3rd person where my book was for 2 days and he said that he was going to give it back. Today, the 3rd person told me to check in the Book Room (He lost my book), but it wasn’t there. What now?

Contact one of your teachers or the principal, aware them of the situation and they’ll make him responsible until he gets it back, and in the meantime will usually let you use one of their extra copies.

You may want to try talking to the teacher and/or principal if they are understanding people. Whether you decide to go to the principal/teacher or not, I would still annoy the crap out of the person who took it. Everytime you see them remind them about the book and that you want it back. Tell them that you are going to report them for breaking into your locker (hey, they knew they had no right to use it) and stealing your book if they don’t give it back. That might “encourage” them to find it.

However, you are still ultimately responsible for the book so, if you don’t find it by the end of the year, you will have to pay for it. I had the same problem at my school. Someone stole my Calculus and my Spanish book off of my desk one day when I went to the bathroom (we weren’t allowed to carry bookbags and there was no way I was taking two books with me to the bathroom). Even though I reported the book as being stolen and I had witnesses saying they saw another student take the books, at the end of the year, when the books weren’t turned in, I still had to pay for them in order to get my diploma.

I’d say tell the office about the 2nd original person alowing a 3rd person to use the locker then tell them that the 3rd person took your book without you knowing and lost it. Make shure to tell them that you didn’t know that the 3rd person was using the locker.

Well your friend should get in trouble for allowing a 3rd person come to the locker if they are not assigned to it. But im going to be honest with you, I been in this same exact situation before and because it was billed in your name they are going to hold you responsible and tell you too bad so sad.

dont go to your teachers its the worst thing you can do take things into your own hands take two of your other locker parteners books and throw them out when he.she asks where it has gone say i dont know maybe your friend took it liek they took mine. that person will get mad at the person that took your book and then your locker buddy might get the person 2 replace all the books. the reason u should take two is because he/ she deserves it lol.
