is this going too FAR?

My English teacher, Mr.Smith, is always making me stay after class just to tell me how I’m one of his best students, when I don’t any of his classwork and homework. I always take a nap or listen to my ipod when I’m in there. He always stares at me for a minute or two and when I look he turns away. Then last friday he told me how he thought I was the most gorgous female student he ever had and gave me his number. I was really creeped out by that; I mean he is pretty cute for a teacher, but he’s like 34 and I’m 15. When I told one of my friends that, she said “what’s the big deal, you should be thankful that he’s going to pass you just for being pretty.” I have no idea why I even asked her for advice when she only cares about herself. I can’t talk to my dad cause he’s out of town, I have no idea what to do.

Absolutely do not contact him. This is completely inappropriate, and while I understand this may be flattering, its not acceptable.

You need to speak to your father on the phone as soon as possible. This is an emergency. Do not go to school tomorrow without discussing this with your dad.

What this teacher is doing is WRONG and DESPICABLE. At your age, you should not be warding off the advances of men in their 30s.

Stay safe!

Yes, it is extremely TOO FAR. I suggest you talk to someone as soon as possible. Either talk to your mother (you didn’t mention her), another family member or if you cannot get anyone to help you, instead of going to his class tomorrow, go to your administrator or your guidance counselor. Tell them exactly what happened–even the part about you not doing the work, because that adds to the fact that he is out of line. If you still have the paper he wrote his number on, definitely, take that with you.

If they don’t want to listen, stay after school until you can talk to the Principal. This is unacceptable and if you were my child, I would not feel safe letting you back into that class until someone at the school has been notified and has talked to him–if you go back at all.

That’s obviously inappropriate. Go tell the principal (and show the paper with the phone number on it if they want proof.) He’ll get a good talking to, and I bet he’ll quit asking you to stay after class.

Yes, this is going too far. You need to talk to the principal or assistant principal at your school and tell one of them about this situation. You should not go back to that class until you have spoken to someone.

Ewww…. creepy

Ask your school councelor to change that class with a different councelor.

Your teacher is a perv and should be suspended for going way to far!
