Is this fair what my higschool french teacher did?

Im in grade 11 french,

and my teacher handed our class quizes today.

I got a 12/15, and I wanted to double check with my teacher why one of my answers was wrong (perfectly natural thing to do if you want to learn from a mistake right, especially french…), so then she explains to me why its wrong (it was partially right another teacher would of given me part mark, but she doesnt like me)…. Worse comes to worse, she rechecks my marks on the quiz, and she says, oops… you actually deserve 11.5…. Im like thats not fair and she said that at first place I shouldn’t have asked her for help but I replied saying I asked for help to learn from my mistake.

Yes, the mark isnt a big deal, the idea is a big deal to me. Why is she being so inconsiderate and cold?

Our grade 11 and 12 teachers graded like that. I thought it was unfair at the time, but they were just getting us ready for college. At both the colleges I attended some teachers (not all) would warn you at the beginning of the semester that if you request that they look at your exam again (even for a question) they will recheck and look harder. It comes across as painful for the student, but in reality, your question shows that you want to learn, so they are providing you with a better evaluation of what you do/don’t know.

Don’t let the harder grading keep you from asking questions. If you didn’t do it right today, there’s a good chance it’ll be on a later exam. It’s better to miss a point (or a half point) now than to miss the same thing again on the final exams.

Its not what I would have done, but all teachers have different personalities. The bottom line is you got the question wrong and do not deserve points for it. Though it does sound like it was very cold hearted and embarrassing for you in the way she did it, she has really done nothing wrong.

You got the question wrong. What’s fair is fair. If she rechecked your quiz and you got the answer right, would you have protested? Probably not.

Romanian is the main with regards to Italian no longer the **** Spanish. I hate that language a lot. that is crap for me. once you pay attention Romanian or Italian language, you do no longer know which one is. they’re too close. yet, besides no one is commonly used with of a lot approximately Romanian language. that is a Latin language, too. additionally, English has many words comparable or precisely to Romanian. because of the fact, they arrive from Latin. do no longer think of that i visit income Spanish. easily i know Romanian and English and additionally i desire to income Italian and French. As I reported, no Spanish crap. is going faraway to any extent further.

Try to get something out of the relationship. Instead of thinking “she does not like me and harsh”. Start thinking that she is trying to teach me something and I appreciate her. Your vibe will change and inventually hers will too. Start smiling to her and make sure you say thank you and please even if she gives you a bad mark.
