you shouldnt worry. its really not that bad. some of it was actally fun, like seeing your friends again, and lunch and stuff. At my middle school they had halloween contests and stuff it was fun [i won a prize =] yay] the dances were crazy =D and the end of the year was great cuz we got to watch movies and bring food in. and if theres alot of drama and stuff, dont worry about it, it prepars yourself for high school. lol im going in to 10th grade. o yeah, and when you go to high school, dont let your grades slip, it was horrible, it actally felt like i skipped a couple grades, it was harder than 8th. i actally whent to summer school for my first time because of it. im just warning you so it deosnt happen to you. going from 8th grade to 9th grade was the hardest thing for me. other than that, they’re all fine. im not sure if you meant it is the first day of 6th grade of 7th or whatever lol, so yeah. umm. yep, o, for future refrence, watch out for physics, [thats why i whent to summer school, he failed me by 5 points! >=( ]

I’m Starting Middle school too but you shouldn’t worry everyone else will be going through the same thing and the teachers will help.

oh wow i remember my first day.

hmm well, i knew absolutely nobody except 2 people, because i had to switch schools, and luckily my best friend was in my classes..but omg. the first day was soo embarassing for me because i sat in the wrong class.. 😛

hah..but then once i got to my actual class,

i LOVED it. everyone was so nicee. and, i had a crush. =] but trust me, you shouldnt be worried, its actually pretty fun.

im going to high school now, next tuesday.

Don’t worry at all. I am in 8th grade on weds. and I have survived!! You have dances and a lot more freedom. Be prepared to class, do your homework as soon as you get home, join lots of clubs in school, and above all…be confident!! The worst thing in middle school is to be weak…be friendly too. Dress nice, and casual. In my school the style is prep and abercrombie, but it could be different at your school. Good Luck!!

To be honest, the only thing you might have to worry about is getting lost. But it’s ok, you won’t be the only one since its a new school, and the teachers won’t mind for the first week. To them, it’s expected and you don’t do much the first week anyway. You’ll be fine!

WellI am going into eighth and I can tell u that it is not as bad as some people say it is. The major problems r drama (i.e gossip, relationships, the list goes on and on), pervs, and teachers (dont wanna freak u out, but u will almost always have at least one bad teacher).

But there r so many good things. new friends, the good teachers, more freedom, better food, cooler classes……

middle school is really fun. i mean it’s better than elementary school, because you get some more freedom. and it’s also not as serious as high school [with all the grades, finals, tests, getting ready for college..etc] i mean just be yourself and try to have fun. don’t worry about anything!!

Depends on what classes you’re taking, what your teachers are like, where you’re going to eat lunch, who with, what kind of workload you can expect, all that jazz.
