Is this an accurate sentence?
“I also thought I’d have a several amount of the same people for the majority of my classes. ”
I’m trying to say that I thought there’d be a lot of people that would have many of the same classes as me (like there’s a group of students that have really similar schedules)

Not accurate. Try something like:
“I also thought many of the same people would be in the majority of my classes. “

Your sentence has a number of problems. In English, the phrase “several amount” would never be used. Several means a number of objects that is more than two but is not a great many things. Amount means a measurable quantity. You can have several bottles of water, for instance, but the amount of water would depend on how many ounces of water were in each bottle. I also don’t like the phrase “I’d have”, in the sense that you can’t have people–it seems as though you own them. The word “for” is incorrect, as well. Here’s a corrected version of your sentence:
I also thought there would be several of the same people in the majority of my classes.

No, it is not correct. Try this: I also thought that a large group of students would be in all my classes with me.
