Always keep your locker organized and have what you need first at the top. Really corny, but study buddies help. I’m not saying to do someone else’s homework or to have someone else do your homework for you. Even just on the phone or computer talking about the work helps.
Don’t spend all your money for school supplies before it starts because some teachers have specific supplies they want for their class.
Also, invest in comfortable writing tools. You’ll be taking a lot more notes, so find pens that are easy and comfortable to write with.
Get different colored binders or notebooks, one for each class, and use those same colors for the same topics each history. For example, all my history classes had green binders, all my English classes had blue notebooks, etc.
red folders, binder notebooks for say spanish
blue for math
yellow for history
and so on….if u dont do this, still dont get two of the same color binders or folders or notebooks so incase u have seconds to grab ur stuff u dont grab the wrong binder since some teachers may not let u go back (mine didnt) if u dont remember what color is what, write a key and tape or magnet it to ur locker door
good luck
(this is off middle school advice i got when i was going into 6th grade and now going into 8th)
