It depends on where you go to school. The first period class does not always have to be the same thing as your homeroom. I actually thought so, but then I looked on my school’s website and it showed that I have a entirely different homeroom, although I will only be there for 5 minutes in the morning. Home room is usually just the class where the teacher can take attendence before you really start the school day. If your not sure, see if your school has a website and check there!

every high school is different and do things differently. In my high school we had our homeroom after 3rd period but that was almost 15 years ago. we would go an sit there for about 5-10 minutes for them to make a head count and then go to our next class. but it should tell u on ur class scehdule of when ur homeroom is.

It’s different depending on which high school you go to. My first period changes everyday because we have block scheduling, so we don’t have homeroom. You should ask a friend that goes to your school.

When I went it used to be. That’s where you did the pledge, heard from the administration, etc.

Usually a 15-30 minute exercise in futility.

It depends on the school, although I think it is generally in the first part of the day. Mine is second.

It is different everywhere. For me our homeroom class is where we go for study hall.

We didn’t have homeroom at my high school. I guess it just depends on where you go.

Yes, probably, although it will most likely be shorter than a normal class period.
