I’m writing a story for Language Arts, and I was curious?
Has anyone been in high school and been on both the track team and the football team? Is that possible, or do the dates overlap and things just don’t work out? Or are the two teams at completely different times of the year?
Another question, just to clarify this, when is football at high school? Fall or spring and summer? All year round?
And when is track at high school?

I can’t speak for all states, but in most football is in the fall (it does conflict with cross country) and track is in the spring. Many people are on both!

It probably varies from state to state, but football is pretty much always in the fall and track is usually in the spring. In fall runners compete in cross country racing.
