I fail agian” I really want to give up?

This is my third year in college. This semester is gonna be done I am gonna fail two of my classes. This is not the first time I fail my class and other thing is that I have no more change to get apply for finical aid because I have had three suspension record. I am 26, I went be to school since I was 22. the reason I back to school is I want to have a better future but now I realize that , it doesn’t mean when back to school it will give you a good future but you have to know that do you fit in school …I mean am I a right person to earn the valuable ” education” or work in 7-11 in the rest of my life???

You need to put in the time those classes deserve. There is no real excuse for you to fail school at all. I am 25 years old and I am graduating and if I spoke down to myself like you are I would also fail.

Ask yourself “Why did you fail?” Is it because you don’t understand the material or di you really slack. If you gave it all you got and got help and tutoring and studied when you should and then failed, then you gave it an honest shot. If you know you could’ve done better then you should feel bad. If you fail this term then I suggest you enroll in a community college. Atleast college will be cheaper and you can take a class or two at a time.

And I am not sure why you have had 3 suspensions on your financial aid before: are you not interested in school? If not, maybe see what other things interest you. There are people without degrees that have made decent livings. School is a personal decision and unless you are willing to work, then don’t go. The only person to decide if you are going to work at 7-11 for the rest of your life is YOU. None of us can determine that for you. I told myself I was going to make it and thats what I’m doing. You determine your own fate.

Ask yourself for a second, what subjects do you enjoy studying? What are you good at? What are your interests? Are you in an area of study that matches your interests and abilities? If not, consider switching into an area of study that does. If you already are, then think to yourself… am I doing bad because I’m not trying hard enough? Or because I don’t care? Or because I’ve always been bad at the subject?

Ask yourself these questions and make a decision based on that.

I keep failing at things and have felt like giving up so many times (i guess thats part of life) but if I give up I’ll never know if I could have really done it or not. I’m only in my 8th week of college with impossible barriers but I must keep going instead of accepting failure. Keep positive, if you know you can do it you will!!!
