Do You Think Its Wrong To Honor The Smart Students In front Of The Normal Students?

Ever get tired of those preppies in school or the ones that seem to always suck up, or get the most attention as if they were more important then the rest? I’ve always thought it was wrong. Almost at the end of my senior year, they had a senior’s Honor Award ceremony, every one had to be attended to witness this which I didn’t get, there was on blond girl who was pretty good looking, had long dangling curly blond hair, wore a white top and a skinny short skirt, she walked the stage as if she was the princess of the world, I could hear people behind me talking about her saying “she thing’s she so pretty.” Its like that blond girl was saying “like omg I am so smart then you guys, and like omg you guys are retarded!”

Why did we have to be there to see people getting awards and having the adults talk good about them, I mean that’s like really rubbing it in saying that the rest are not smart, I mean a person in the audience could make straight A’s but oops they made one D on their report card, nobody really cares about people being HONORED just because they made straight A’s or had a GPA of 88.99 what are you OPINIONS.

Honor students should be honored. That’s how life works! Those who work hard and are successful are rewarded for it. When you complain about it you just sound jealous.

Just because you were not on that stage doesn’t mean you can’t accomplish great things. Use the experience to motivate you!

Half the time the “Normal” students probably don’t even pay attention, you know how kids are they always cut up and never pay attention because in reality….yes they don’t care, i mean the students walking that stages, its only for a few seconds, better enjoy it while they can, because yes nobody cares accept for them and their parents, they arrange all this just to show the whole school “like omg i got straight A’s and you didn’t like omg omg!!”

I hated high school, it was like a prison, I avoided it as much as possible. But college was totally different. No a. holes among the student body, or at least if there were they had no power to make your life miserable like in a gym class. So I enjoyed college. I applied myself. I got close to a straight 4.0 and did even better in grad school.

Those kids just tried hard and did their jobs. Some are pressured by their parents.

YOU could have worked harder if you’re jealous.

Yeah…it’s kinda pointless that you were there…except at least you made the honored ones feel extra special and honored!!!

The people who got honored care. Hard work can take anyone to honors! We are all proud when we are recognized for our hard work. It doesn’t mean the rest of you aren’t smart!

i think it is

because if you work hard enuf

then the normal people coulda be just as smart as the honors

now someppl(like me) dont have to study and some things just come easy.

but others have to go that extra mile and if they wanted it

they would work harder

no ones stupider than someone else

someone works harder than someone esle

it just depends on the person who’s being honored whether or not they want to rub it in. Most wouldn’t but there might be one. That one can suck it! Lick my **** 😛

In my experience, there’s no such thing as “smart”. If you work hard, you have the right to be honored.

And if we didn’t have these things, people would have less incentive to study.

If you don’t like it, get straight A’s.
