I am going into a jr./sr. high school but for middle school. What will I have to do to fit in?

I want to not be on the gothic or emo side. I am a nerd, but am also in band. I dont look like a nerd though. I NEED HELP!!!!

I’d like to say be yourself…but in middle school most people haven’t figured out what that is yet. Try to be confident in your decisions and you’ll end up in the crowd that suits you. I think the best scenario is to have friends from all the cliques, but not actually fit in one: who wants to be a carbon-copy anyway. If none of that works, it will be over soon.
