I am a sophomore, and I still don’t know what I want to be in the future?
I am really confused of how I want to spend the rest of my life doing.
Can you help me, any suggestions?

Here is my answer which also applies to you.
There is absolutely nothing wrong about you at the age of 14 thinning about the furrier as long as it does not cause you undue worry and you do not become obsessive about it.
Do not do choose a career in which you will be unhappy.
I have two children. One did not know what he wanted to do until he was in his early twenties. He became a policeman and is very happy running around the highways with flashing lights and a siren.
My other son did not find his true career until he was in his early thirties. Today he is happy, makes a very nice salary and is well known in his field.
My niece at an early age wanted to be a physician. She graduated Medical school, had a scholarship to Yale and today is a happy successful board certified radiologist.
Think about the future. Do not be concerned. The future will come.
What am I willing to learn on my own?
What are my hobbies?
What non-fiction books do I like to read?
What subject at school do I find interesting?
What do you dream about doing which makes you happy to think about?
Not only will you find more about yourself, but you will have more confidence about what you want to do.
Some more suggestions:
1. Read books! Read books about many different subjects and books about different careers. If you find a book you enjoy reading, you might consider reading more about it.
2. Take an occupational test- These tests put together your interests, hobbies, and personality to see which jobs are best for you. You can ask your counselor where you can take one. They also have some online, but they aren’t as accurate.
I asked myself these questions and did research. I found out I’m happy with hard core science. Not only did I feel more at ease, but I feel fulfilled.
I hope you feel the same. Good luck, and I hope you become a productive member of society.
Save your money and do community college and get your undergraduate courses done for 25% of the cost.
