Everyone forgets a lot of things they learn. It’s natural to forget, because we have so much information put into our brains all the time that we can’t consciously keep track of it.

Take notes and make flash cards. Don’t toss them or lose them, keep them around. It’s a good idea to take your notes in different colors – it is more interesting that way.

Make a joke about the subject you’re learning. You’ll remember the joke later.

Do something active… Memorize vocabulary while you go for a jog, for example. Or, go for a run, then come in to study afterwards. Your mind will be more lively and active while and after you exercise.

Finally… after you learn or study something, find someone (your parents if they’re nice) to explain or teach the concept to. If you finish a hard math problem, ask your parents to watch you while you show them how you did it. Repeating what you learned and explaining it to others are two good ways to keep the information in your memory.

You are probably not that interested in the subjects you are studying. Is it funny that we remeber the thngs that are important to us.
