Im going into 8th grade too. Last year I always pushed myself to doing what i had to do. I raised my GPA from 2.4 to 3.8 just from not being lazy. There was many different times when i could of hung out with my friends instead of doing my work. But if you give it a chance then it will pay off and you will be happy you tried so hard. I always knew what I was capable of and I know you can do the same. And you don’t have to break up with your boyfriend just spend less time with him if you are busy. Just spend Monday-Friday doing your work and spend the weekends chillin unless you have a test on Monday. Believe me if you spend most of your time working and it pays off you will get your mom off your back and everything will work out! =)
