i have a bottom locker?
and i am really really tall! i am almost the tallest person in my grade! the principal said he cant switch me, and its driving me nuts having everyones butts in my face! i am literally sitting on the floor (the yucky gross dirty floor) trying to get my stuff ready!
this makes me so mad and school hasnt started yet!
what do i do? thanks!

Not to be mean, but just suck it up. High school is going to suck in some way and for you its just having a bottom locker. You can deal with it.

Katie, I think you’ve already had some great suggestions. The best one I saw was to find a very short person, and ask them if they would like to switch. Tell them that being tall it is a pain to bend down, equally, they probably can’t properly see into their locker.
I don’t see why the principal needs to get involved here. Clearly he is too lazy to do anything about it, so just work it out with another student.

There must a short person that would like to have a bottom locker…find a short person on their tippy toes at their top locker and ask them if they would like to switch. Then both of you go to the principal together. The principal is just lazy. But if you bring him/her a solution there’s no reason not to do it. Good luck. If he/she is still obsitnate about it go to your counsler.

when i was in highschool i always got stuck with the bottom locker and i was tall also. what you can do is have your mom write you a note ( i kno it sounds gay but it will work) saying that you are tall and have back problems and getttin to your bottom locker isnt that easy. and if that doesnt work then get a note from your doctor most doctors would be happy to write a note stating that your taller and going in and out of your bottm locker is hard on ur back . i know my doctor was cool with doing it! Good Luck!

Deal with it. At least you will be able to reach everything in your locker. Think about the short people who have the top lockers. They have to step all over the bottom locker people.
Be thankful – it is just for one year and you will laugh about it later. You could laugh about it now!

First talk to your classmates and see if someone with a locker up is willing to exchange it with you. Looking at your height, they might be ready to help you. Then, you and the person agreeing to exchange can talk to the class teacher and sort it out!

Offer to trade with someone who’s really short. Leave the principal out of it. If you can’t, learn to squat or kneel, and chill. There’s bound to be something else to get irate about soon.

Hmmm, rather than getting mad, perhaps there’s a lesson for you there? Everyone’s butts in your face? Hmmm, what have you put in other’s faces? What goes around, comes around. Something to think about.
