Do you have any hobbies? I would look at what you like to do and go from there. For example, do you like to write? Do you like math? Do you like science? Then you can narrow it down that way, then maybe do an internet search on it. If you like science, do a search on “careers in science” or narrow it down more… Biology…. “careers in biology” Maybe that will help. But let me say, I am in my late 30’s and still have never figured out what I want to do for a career. I can’t narrow it down, I want to do everything practically. I have a lot of interests. So…… You may not be able to find an easy answer to this. Don’t let it get you down, you will do fine. The fact that you are concerned about it shows that you are willing to do something about it. 🙂

see what you enjoyed most about school…then dig deeper and see what you liked about it–for instance me, i enjoy the subject math in school, but i realized i like figuring about logical solutions to things rather than the math itself, so like economics. take a year off before you head straight off to college it can really help because the decision you make has a huge impact–your job will likely be dependent on this choice. good luck!

You should ask a career specialist, I have one at my school. If your school doesn’t have one, then ask your counselor.
