Use the sandwich technique in essays – Make a valid point, then show an example using a relevant quote before explaining how the quote supports your point. Make sure you read the set texts thoroughly well before your exam several times, and go over important sections just before your exam, making sure you understand who all the characters are and what they are like, and you understand the plot. Coursework is important too – get it done within a week of it being set, so you have time to redraft it after a few days. Good luck!

You may want to begin by capitalizing your “I” and the word “English”. All languages are capitalized at all times…..
Excellence in English does not come by completing the course…it comes when you recognize that the rules of grammar are for ALL times, not just in class.
