How can I finish high school?

Oy! Long story.

I went to a school for 2 years for this special program for very advanced students, IB. But health issues that I have made it nearly impossible to finish, so I transferred to a technical school, and went there for a year, but the people were dumb as dirt and I can’t take another year of that.

So I have one more year of high school, and I can do this career academy thing where I go to school 35 hours over 4 days, and have to complete 75 hours at an internship per semester, but I get college credit. (That’s a lot of hours, esp. for someone with a health condition like mine) I could go to this crappy high school (that’s AKA cow-patty-high) or I could get my GED (which I don’t really want to do) or do storefront, which my sister did and completed a 9 wk class in 2.

I’m not ecstatic about any of these options. Does anyone know another way I can get my diploma? If not, which of these ways sounds the best?

I have 2 weeks to decide and I just don’t know what to do! Please help!

Would it be possible for you to go and talk to a school counselor at the special school you used to attend? That might be the best person to give you advice about your options. Also, is there a possibility that you could continue there, but perhaps take a lighter load and take an extra semester or two if it’s needed? That seems to have been the school that you enjoyed the most and was best for you. They should be able to make adjustments and exceptions (re. scheduling and load) for the health condition of a student who is otherwise capable of doing well.
