Homeschooling?
Favorite Answer
Most homeschooling families are dedicated to their kids and make sure they get the proper academics and social outlets. It allows the family to raise their children instead of a government school. It allows the children to have an individualized education, you know, like what people used to get before they sent everybody to school. It can allow children to grow up in a more normal and healthier environment: if we were supposed to grow up around 20-30 other kids the same age, mothers would give birth to 20-30 kids at once.
But these benefits all depend on the general well-being of the family and how the parents approach it. Is it right for every family? By all means, no. Some parents need more space from their children. Some parents aren’t interested in being their child’s full-time teacher. Lots of other reasons, too.
btw, homeschooled kids can and do socialize, take part in sports and more. More and more studies done are showing that on average, homeschooled students participate in MORE extra-curricular activities than do average public school students. People who naysay homeschooling ought to actually find out about it first.
2) It sucks, why would you want to stay home all day?
