First of all hon…BREATHE!!

i am currently in higschool, and it is not horrible like what you always hear. BUT!! you must remeber it will be, if you pretend to be someone you arent. Now as an incoming freshman, the upperclassman are gonna be jerks(not all) only b/c they think they rule the school. The first day, know that you are new, and if you are worried about finding your classes, try getting a map before, and study it, or something to get familar with.

If you are worried about the ladies, just be chill about it. They are just as nervous as you are, and ware wayway to m much makeup, and their “cutest outfits” to show off like they are all that and more.

Being popular, is nice, i have been there, but be popular for good reasons, work your way u, but stay true to who you are.most of those popular kids may not even have a really future, unless they look pretty, or hott. And once that is gone, there is no real foundation for success.

Trust me, the first day, yea it is really nervracking, cause everything is new.

Understand, your other classmates are just as vulnerabe to this highschool thing too.

(if u see a chick u think is cute btw. in the class room for example, look over at her, but not like a sicko, or stocker way, just a noticable glance, but not for too long, and smile just a little, then look away and pretend you are a cool cat and go along with it.

Dont worry hon, you have 4 long years, that can be miserable only if u make them that way. before you go that first day, look at yourself in the mirror, and tell yourself, how freakin awsome you are. How hott, and freakin amazing YOU REALLY ARE!!! CONFIDENCE BABE!! thats the first step!!

You might start out not knowing anyone in your classes, but most people are on the same playing field.

If there are a group of kids you want to hang out/be friends/be associated with basically pick one and follow them around (preferably the one that seems to lead the group) and invite yourself out with them until they start inviting you

Girlfriends: not as hard to get as one might imagine. The key is to give her attention and ask her. The worst she can say is no — if she says no, you can give her more attention to see if she eventually says yes…or go find a new one (new one is generally easier). I have adult friends that still use the numbers games (ask 20 and 19 will slap you and the other one will be yours). The more assertive boys are the ones that tend to be sucessful that way.

Do you remember when you first walked into middle school? Well it will be like that, except another step up. You will be nervous at first, but I’m sure you will get used to it. There aren’t that many changes.

As for being new, try to join a club. It is easy to make a friend if you have a common interest shared and all. Good Luck. ^^

🙂 idk much experience about going to a new school cause my school is middle school and high school together. so ive known the same people for like 5 years now. 😛 its nice going to a new school cause then you can start over and make new friends. dont you at least know 1 person thatll go there? well people with their group of friends make less than those without friends cause theyre like closed off. just be active and join clubs. im sure there are others that are just like you. its ok if you dont get a girlfriend. i havent had a bf yet either :P(going to 10th grade). you dont have to meet the cool kids, make your own group of cool kids. theres no such thing as not making friends. just be open, dont loner yourself, and act normal! dont try to fit in. like obviously.

ok. first off…chill out! it is not as nearly as bad as the movies make it to be. what you’ve heard about high school is from other people’s experiences. some people may have loved high school, while others may have not. you will make friends. i can guarantee that. but you aren’t even going to high school until next year, so you don’t need to be worrying about it now. all you really have to do is be yourself and everything will fall in place.

calm down man. high school isn’t all that they say it is. most of it is just to get you to freak out. you can get plenty of friends, sports are overrated, and the girls aren’t worth it. it’s easy. just don’t play some crap like magic:the gathering or get into anything like that. you’ll ruin yourself.
