i dropped out when i was in highschool.

people didnt like me much, or at least the cool ones so called.

i didnt like how my freedom was taken. how i was suppose to sit in class an d learn nothing. while i could do other things.

nor did i like the homework they assigned.

so i ended up skipping school, i skipped alot of school.

i would phone from a phone booth to the school in the morning and tell them i wouldnt be coming cause i was sick.

this way they wouldnt phone my parents.

and then i wouldnt be caught skipping class.

Then i would go to the local town library and spend all day there, or walk the park s.

it was more safer to go to the library though , so i did that mostly.

i spent most of my time growing up doing this, and ended up leaving school completly.

i enjoyed the freedom i gave myself, yet now at the age of twenty six, i wish i had taken advantage of some of the things school offered.

but at the same time, i am glad for what i did, because i learned more about life and philosophy and about people , then i ever did in class.

leaving school, i found people to be kinder to me then teachers or students.

the freedom was great.

all i am saying is everyone is a different student of life.

you may be like me in that way.

and if so, there is nothing wrong with that.

choose what helps you most in life.

but be safe and be smart. dont talk t o the opposite sex cause that may lead to death and pain.

if you choose to skip that is.

cause there are wacko s out there

good luck in life, and focus always on the positive.

you are a student of life, which ever way you must live, you may do so , Freely.

Don’t worry. The good thing about high school is that many other freshmen are in the same situation as you are. They don’t have classes with their friends and feel insecure. And yeah you have to take classes that are terrible with terrible teachers. I’ve been through a ton of classes that I hated and couldn’t wait to get out of. You shouldn’t judge whether or not you’ll like a class before you’ve even taken it. I thought SAT Prep would be a cool class because it was an “easy A” elective. It was my most hated class last year. & I thought I wouldn’t like US History, but my classmates made it awesome. We had some many insiders in that class. In a way you should be kind of happy that you don’t have any classes with your friends. This will give you an opportunity to branch out and meet new people. Overall, high school is not that bad. I don’t like it because it’s tedious and too predictable, but it shouldn’t be something that you fear or anything. good luck πŸ™‚

I had a lot of drama before (and even after) going into 9th grade. Hopefully, the people you have drama with will go to a different school and be mature enough to leave the past alone. Don’t drop out no matter what. High school is different from middle school. It has rallies, festivals, fun assemblies, and other stuff. You get to have a pretty fresh start and make better, new friends. To avoid more drama, be nice to people and refrain from drawing too much attention to yourself.

AWWWW Sweetie,

It is going to be good. The drama from middle school fades. There are so many new opportunities and friends to meet. If you tell yourself there is going to be drama and boredom, you will get it.

BUT, if you start thinking about the new people you want to meet and how they are more like you, you will meet them.

If you start thinking about the different clubs, and activities, and classes you are interested in, you will find new doors worth exploring.

AND , if you start to believe you are a great person to get to know with so much to offer, dropping out is not an option. Getting involved (school as well as life) will make you understand you make life what you want it to be!

I believe in you already, because you asked for help. I don’t even know you!

Good Luck, Sweetie!

Not to be flippant but ask your parents to take you to Sylvan learning center. Maybe you have a problem they can help you with. Whatever the case is there is no shame in asking for help.

And when it comes to the drama with people, that’s completely normal. The more mature you are about it the better and the mature approach is to think about it as trying to find the best possible outcome for each situation, even if it is not ideal.

Also, once you’ve got your schoolwork under control you should join an activity. Yes that’s completely trite but trust me, I wish I had done more of that.

Well, you cant drop out. You cant drop out until 16. Just give school a shot. Maybe the people you having problems with will have gotten more mature and gotten over their problems with you. High school can be boring at times, but its actually fun a lot of the time. Just go, try it out. You might enjoy it.

aw hun!, i was in 9th grade last year and i thought it be would awful too, but really it wasn’t that bad, i thought it was kinda fun, yeah there is more drama, but i didn’t get caught up in it that much, i just told people i don’t give a crap, and walked off, just ignore it. don’t drop out, it’s probably the worst mistake you may ever make! maybe you should see a teacher that seems more on the understanding type, and i’m sure they’ll help you out! sorry if my adivce didn’t help much!

Good luck!! πŸ˜€

don’t drop out it’s not worth it, plus in your head you have an idea of all this drama occurring, but the reality is that it won’t, unless you make it happen. and as for school, it’s not boring or hard, plus the hours go pretty quick. So stay in school!

Unless you can get home schooling, I’m afraid you won’t have much choice. Believe it or not, your pre-school year jitters are normal. By the end of the first two weeks of school, you’ll have the hang of things. Try to relax, you’ll be fine.
