Getting annoyed with kids in school?
The grade I am in the kids are so annoying, they don’t take anything serious and they think everything is a joke. Teachers send more time yelling and explaining old stuff to students then teaching new stuff. I understand stuff pretty easy. No matter what class I am in, I am either bored or really annoyed. I CAN NOT STAND this school anymore and this is my 5th week there. What should I do? I have tried my best to make it through everyday nice but it is getting SO hard.
Please help me. I am desperate.

Sounds like my days at my middle school. No order, poor leadership, weapons. I used to HATE school, but know that I’m in high school, I love it. You probably will need to tansfer school.

If you find that you must stay in this school, you can still find ways to challenge yourself and enrich your life.
You might take a training class or course in some field that interests you. If you have a college in your town you may find opportunities there.
Or you can make a ‘hobby’ out of learning all you can on your own about a particular subject, such as creating computer games, or developing a better skate board……whatever interests you.

there’s really nothing to do. There’s always going to be those immature-no friends-loser-a—i think you get the point. In my college calc class, there’s 2 guys that talk and GIGGLE the whole time. And in my Poli. Sci. class this guy talks on the phone the whole time while 2 girls sit in back and have a picnic. No matter what you tell those people, they’ll never learn.

He has crossed the line between “annoying” and “harassment.” I would go to a teacher or school counselor you trust and let them know he is harrassing you with all these text messages. Someone with more authority may get it into his head that what he is doing is wrong… not just because it is bothering you – but because it has become an illegal activity. Tell the teacher exactly what you told us. This is no longer “cute” or even “annoying.” This boy has become obsessed with you. And it will become worse unless you get an adult to intervene and help you out.

Talk to your parents and to the counselor at your school if you have one. They may be able to suggest some options that will help you. Possibly they can help you link up with other serious students like yourself, and you can at least support each other. I do understand what you mean and how frustrating it is to be a serious student when it seems like those around you don’t care about that. Take care, and do talk to someone there who may be able to help.

If you’re in high school maybe you can get transferred into honors or even AP classes.
Talk to your guidance counselor about your concerns and see what your options are.
That’s what they’re there for after all
