It’s a tour of the school, so you know where the library, offices (things like that), and you are free to roam the halls to find the rooms of your classes. I think it’s good so you don’t look clueless the first day asking everyone where the cafeteria is or where’s room 274. AND you get to know where your locker is and try ouy your combination. You also meet the other freshman.

Huge Difference, I Would At Least Go & Meet Your Homeroom Teacher. I Go To A Charter School & If I Would Have Missed My Freshman Orientation I Would Have Been Lost, It’s Also A Great Way To Get To Know A Couple People & Meet A Cool Teacher That You Can Go To For Help, The Main Thing I Would Do Is Memerize Where All My Classes Were At The Orientation, Gettin Lost Is The Worst Thing Possible In Highschool. Hope I Helped, Goodluck. Dont Worry Highschool Is Great!

They act like sons and daughters and that i individually have been given great annoyed with them considering that they used to think of they have been the main suitable **** via making a song the comparable songs persistently to get a reaction from human beings. additionally even the ‘cool’ freshman walk around like they own the region whilst their tiny lil munchkin faces. that’s coming from a senior who moved and had to take a seat down via a freshman orientation at yet another college.

It is not crucial to attend the orientation. Usually they just go over information you’ll learn on the first day in each of your classes anyway. Plus, you’d probably get your school ID picture, class schedule and locker assignment that day. If you contact the school and ask to come and pick up the information on a different day, I’m sure they will accomodate that for you.

Good luck with your new school! ๐Ÿ™‚

Freshman orientation is an advantage if you attend, but it’s not absolutely necessary–you can still get the hang of high school without it; it introduces you to campus resources and school life in general. It doesn’t make a *big* difference..I know plenty of people who did not attend and are fine.

Yes, it’s important information unless you have a sibling already a year ahead of you in the school where you’ll be going and can show you the way around. There is alot of good information you won’t want to miss out on while everyone else is “getting it”. Go to it if you can possibly make it.

If there is a freshman orientation, I guess it’s important. You should make it a priority. I delayed my vacation plans for a day so that my son won’t miss kindergarten orientation.

Pretty important. So this is where a friend could come in handy. Otherwise contact a school counselor and get the information from them.

Good luck. You are in for a great time ahead of you.

Yes

I know that for a fact sometimes they give you tours show you where your classes are. You also might be able to peep at other peoples schedules and make friends with people who have the same classes as you.

You really should try and be there, it’s SO important. I mean, you’ll eventually get the hang of it, but you’ll have a definite disadvantage.

Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚
