Most any college has pre-med, and normally is doesn’t matter. If you know what med school you want to get into, go ahead and try to get into that college as an undergrad as well, in increase your chances of getting into med school. Other then that, any school with a Biology department would be idea for pre-med.

Stony Brook University, in NY, has two campuses on each side of the highway in my area plus a number of satellite outpatient clinics. One (main campus) is for general education including Psychology.

The other (East campus) is one of the largest hospitals on Long Island with a Health Sciences Center which has PreMed, Med, Psychiatry, Nursing, Social Work, Neuro, Osteo, Internal Med, etc.

Plus all kinds of health tech support such as MRI tech, X-Ray tech, Sonogram Tech, which is the quickest way to a great paying health career offered there,

There’s also a school of Dentistry with an outpatient clinic on the south part of main campus, you really can take your pick there because as part of the NY state hospital system there isn’t much they don’t have, and if there is a rare specialty such as Complementary medicine, you can easily transfer to any other SUNY or CUNY school that offers that, and your credits will all transfer.

for Pre-med, a state college usually is a good choice. You get just as good of an education as you would at an ivy league school, at a lot less. It really only matters where your MD is from, so I say go to a state school
