What kinds of good jobs can you get without a high school diploma?

Without a high school diploma you can’t get any good jobs. You will always be limited to menial labor type jobs such as hotel housekeeping or being a dishwasher in a restaurant.
Please get your high school diploma if you’re considering dropping out. Once you get it, you’ll have more choices and eventually might want to go to college or to a trade school.

Ther is no such thing in today’s economy. The competition is too stiff. Without a diploma – you can pretty much count on making no more than $10,000 a year before taxes – leaving you roughly $600 a month to live on. That is not a living wage. Stay in school.

the 1st answer was right on. If you can’t go back to school to get your diploma check out getting a GED. Your school counselors will give you the info you need. Due to circumstances I won”t go into..I quit school at 16…got my GED and ended up with a fantastic government job with great pay and benefits. Baby, do yourself a big favor and take our advice. You will never regret it. Good luck.

With out a diploma or GED… nothing. A below min. wage job at a casino.
With a GED and nothing else… a min wage job, maybe more. Something still below the poverty line.
With a GED and a college degree… Sky’s the limit.

the unhappy element is that he are able to get a activity now yet he’s on the mercy of his boss/supervisor. A degree shows a means company you have the tenacity to end a twelve year software. you have the means, force, and now the undemanding practise. i understand of many people who worked for an company and have been fired purely while the time got here to be vested interior the retirement software. tell him to get his degree or GED. A pupil can now stay in intense college until age 21.

sweetie..go back to school and get a diploma…..not only will you have a better chance at a decent job, you will gain self respect and knowledge that is irreplaceable.
without at least a GED, even a job with the words “would you like fries with that” are hard to get.
