Just be yourself, don’t be afraid to make new friends and talk to your classmates because they’re probably just as nervous as you are, don’t mess with the wrong people, and don’t slack off. Also, don’t go around saying “Yeah, freshmen rule!” or “Class of ’11!” because it’ll only get you weird/mean looks from upperclassmen. Best of luck ;]

You’ll make new friends. Be social. The best part about high school is that you meet so many new people. When you sit down at that first class and the people around you are from other schools, say “Hey man, how’s it goin? What’s your name?”.

First impressions are the best, be funny, don’t be nervous. Everyone feels the same way so you got something in common. Just be friendly and get to know people right off the bat. If you can make a good impression in your freshmen year, your set for the rest.

Alot of kids are in your boat right now and just by switching rosters with other kids and talking about what you think of the teachers or common interests will help you meet people. Go with your extincts.. so that kid over there looks nice.. get to know him.. that girl looks friendly, try talking to her. If things don’t work out , there are alot more kids to meet. Just introduce yourself. Be calm and confident.

I was soo worried like you and im going into my junior year and it really wasn’t nearly as bad as i was picturing it.. More of a continuation of middle school.. Just with alot more kids

Don’t be shy the first month, be personable and you’ll get lots of friends, meet as many people as you can. Pretend its a game and try to get as many friends as you can. The more people you know the more fun you will have.

Okay so last year was my first year of highschool too
