Teach them in a quiet room….let them practice and leave them homework every once in a while.

You’ll find 7 – 9 year olds will be on different levels academically so you have to adjust. You’ll have some children below grade level, some on grade level and some above. The ones below need extra help if you have time to do any one on one teaching. Repetition is always good, especially if working with multiplication tables. Some of your 7 year olds might have a little trouble reading so work on having the kids read. You could do spelling bees to work on spelling. But, be careful that none of the kids feel humiliated. Make learning as much fun as you can so the kids will enjoy it. Kids like to have fun and they like rewards.
