do u need physics in high school to be a psychiatrist?

to be a psychiatrist, i know u need chemistry and biology for university, but do u also need physics?

No. Physics is optional for college entrance.

If physics is required for your major (which it may or may not be), you’d have to take COLLEGE physics. You have to decide for yourself whether you want the “headstart” of having already taken it in high school, or if you’d rather take a different class instead.

I graduated with a BA in Psychology. Physics and Psychology are different concepts. I’m sure you can find some way to relate them, but to answer your question, you do not need physics to be a psychiatrist, I think. Psychologists do research and Psychiatrists prescribe medication (in general).

physics has to deal with how things move, lol i doubt u will be designing planes while examineing a person
