Do you think the branch of Mathematics, ALGEBRA has any relationship with COMPUTER SCIENCE?
In Algebra, there are formulas. For ex: a^2 -b^2 = (a+b) (a-b) which can be styled as “software” in Computer. If you apply the formula to 103×97 = (100+3)(100-3)= 100^2 – 3^2 = 10000-9 = 9991, you get a faster answer. This is called “application software”

The important thing to remember is that computers – EVERY computer – is merely an advanced calculator and is based entirely on mathematical calculations. The bigger and faster computers are merely better at making these calculations.
