Can anyone make corrections for me? I have to write it as a news.?

Hello everyone, welcome back to CND news station. A woman named Hallie Johnson had a race with Brian Appleford last night. It was around 8:30 p.m. They raced in high speed for about ten minutes down to the Candy Street . Hallie said that she slowed down as she heard a screeching sound of brake. Fortunately, nothing had really happened there. It is really lucky that they didn’t hurt anybody. At the end, they still get a ticket from the police. Sometime, although people know this is a wrong thing to do, they still do it because people like excitements. Many people died of it. They are an exceptional case of course.

Welcome back to CND news station.

I will begin tonight with news of a race last evening between Hallie Johnson & Brian Appleford. They raced in high speed until screeching brakes brought them to their senses. Fortunately, nothing serious happened & no one was hurt. Each did get a well deserved ticket from the police. Although kids know this is a wrong thing to do, they often do it because unfortunately excitement means more to them than endangering lives.

In local news, an alleged race between Hallie Johnson and Brian Appleford was halted about 8:30p.m. as police ticketed both parties at the scene on Candy Street. Neither

Johnson nor Appleford were injured. Police have no motive for the incident and cite the race as just some kids blowing off steam through a dangerous activity
