Anyone from California or who might just know?…?

I got my STAR testing results back and I got a Basic on my math test. I was really worried because I never get lower than proficient. Then I heard that the test will get put on my transcripts. Is that true? And if so will colleges look at those scores?

STAR testing is just for the state. They take the average of the all the test scores in the school and use that to determine how much money the school will get and what the school needs to work on. It will not be on your transcript and colleges will not see it.

Don;t be worry about them. They won’t put too much of an emphasis on those scores. Just do well on the SAT or ACT and get a high GPA with various working/volunteering experiences and you should be fine!

They look at the tests to see that you’ve taken them, but they consider a variety of factors
