Red day wear all red

My kids just had spirit week this week, and had some of the same things. They also had dress alike day…you and a friend dress alike, hillbilly/cowboy day, nerd/prep day, craziest outfit day, and spirit day. Also have seen mismatched day, where your shoes, socks, etc are mismatched, dress like someone famous day, can’t think of any others right now. At other schools where we had red ribbon week, we also had a door decorating contest…each classroom decorated their classroom doors, (or decorate their bulletin boards outside the classroom), wear red day, suglasses day, hat day. Have Fun with it!

maybe its best for all of u teachers to sit and plan more interesting ideas- those which are also meaningful in the kids’ lives so they can understand and appreciate.

think of themes which kids like- animals, family, self, favorites, toys, movies, tv characters, etc. narrow them to more specific ideas which u can use for ur activity days.

ex. when u discuss about families, maybe the kids can come in their mother, father, grandma or grandpa attires.

Hollywood day–dress like your favorite actor or actress

Favorite team day-wear your favorite team jersey

School colors-wear your school colors with jeans
