what school loans are there besides the perkins and the stafford for people with bad credit?

the best type of loan to get is the parent plus loan, but only if you are still a dependant (under 24, not married, etc…)
the thing is, the loan is in your parents name, but you can pay them back, and nelnet or suntrust can postpone their payments while your in school.
outside of that, if you need private loans, try www.teri.org
they are a non-profit org that have looser standards for credit, but the rates tend to be higher…
i wont try and recommend an actual company for private loans, as the standards are higher, as it would be an unsecured loan…

oh yeah, i would try to get some scholarships to, but those are never gauranteed, so i didnt bring it up.
