There’s a book called The Shoebox where a kid learns to a shoe using a cardboard box with laces.
The way I learned was with a sash or rope… you wrap it through something (my grandmother used a kitchen drawer handle) and let the kid learn by practicing tying on here. It’s easier because it’s bigger than the itty bitty shoe laces and they can see it and get the feel for it better. Once they’ve got that down they’ll be able to tie their shoes.
you make two rabbit ears and then tie them together.
show them how to make the rabbit ears and they will get it fast!!
good luck!!
and they have this episode on spongebob too
