f(x) = 5 |x-1|
For f(x+1) replace “x” with “x+1”
f(x+1) = 5 |(x+1) -1| = 5 |x|
For f(x^2 +s) replace “x” with “x^2 +s”
f(x^2 +s) = 5 |(x^2 +s) -1| = 5 |x^2 +s -1|
