Will this look bad to colleges?

In my senior year I was planning on taking one aide hour(non-credit) per semester. I have lots of AP and honors courses, and want time to do homework. To colleges, will this look like I’m slacking by taking a non-credit course over a real course?

It’s not a huge deal unless you are applying to super competitive universities…just make sure you are doing something activity wise afterschool. Good grades are typically more meaningful in difficult classes than a good grade in another gym class. 🙂

It would most likely depend on the college. If it is an Ivy League school or a school that is very competitive they would probably look for classes that prove that you are challenging your self, but overall I don’t think it is a huge deal. As long as you are get good grades, have a good GPA and get involved in different school activities and clubs I think you’ll be fine.
