here is the strange thing about education….go into a school…especially if its in a small town and ask then what their degrees are…i guarentee you that it won’t be in the feild that they are teaching….i helped a lady get a job at the school working with special ed kids all they required was that she went to school her degree was in merchendising (sp?)…BUT if your looking to go into something with your feild knowledge…my school had a business teacher and he also taught the computers…he taught such classes as: Accounting, Intro to Business, Accounting II , Typing classes…there were two or three more he taught but its been five years since i’ve been in high school i can’t remember then all….just go to the school and talk to the superintendent or the secretary…they will direct you to who you need to speak to or tell you what your available to teach….i know ALOT of teachers in small towns that went and got their degree in Science and were teaching Math, or got their degree in History and were teaching English…good luck!!!!

I have a passion for teaching others too. I am in a Business and Tech. program where I will transfer with an Associates degree to a four year college and obtain a Bachelors in Business and Marketing Education. This will allow me to teach business and marketing on the secondary level and eventually the post-secondary level. I don’t know of any jobs that will allow you to teach per say, solely with an Associate’s degree. To teach you need to get the BS in some sort of education field/subject. I would like to know of any educational jobs for someone with just an associates too. Good luck!
