why isn’t there one grading system?

ok, so at my old high school in connecticut getting a 97% or above was considered an A+, same with middle school, i moved to michigan, and now my 97% grade in english is considered an “A”. now my grades will be lower than they’ve been by letter when I can only now get A+’s by getting 100%. why can’t all highschools have the same grading system? the difference as stupid as it is really pisses me off!

I always thought even 100% was only an A. No colleges that I know of give more points for an A+. It’s not part of their grading scale so don’t worry about it.
