What will college life be like for a pre-pharmacy major?

I’m starting college soon and I’m nervous. I don’t know what to expect. And don’t just say sex and partying because if you do you’re pathetic.

It’ll be just the same as everyone else: study, work, and friends! It won’t necessarily be harder than any other subject – it just depends on what you’re good at. After all, chemistry majors generally hate writing papers and reading novels, but then again literature major generally hate mathematics and chemistry. So, if you like what you’re doing, you’ll be good at it and still have time for fun. It won’t be different than anyone else – just make sure you have fun AND study. You’ll go crazy if you just study, and if you just have fun, well – your grades will suffer! G’luck!

You’ll spend more time in lab than most of your friends spend on homework per week. You’ll have a more rigorous academic schedule – but rules apply: work hard, play hard. Benefits will come when you’re making a lot of money later in life.

You’ll spend more time studying because science courses typically require more time. But it’ll pay off.
