I wrote my dissertation in 2003. Is it too late to publish it?

my dissertation was topical, in the sense that it was dealing with an upcoming event in 2003. That even is over by 4 years now. However, the issues are still pertinent. Is it a waste of time to publish, or should I go ahead anyway??

Maybe you would want to update it by adding references to any further developments since 2003, and any new conclusions to be drawn? Otherwise I’d say publish it – history is usually written after the event, even nowadays, and it’ll add to the sum of human knowledge.
