It takes a strong commitment, years of dedication and sacrifice, compassion, brilliance, and an incredible memory to succeed. If your heart and soul tell you this is what you have to do, then go for it. God bless you.
Best wishes.
There are a lot of people who fantasize about becoming a physician despite having lackluster grades. Although it is not impossible, it is rare for a poor to average student to suddenly change to become a stellar student and you need to be a good student to be accepted and succeed in medical school. Note that I didn’t say you needed to ge a genius. A person of average intelligence can do well in school if he/she has learned to be self-disciplined, studied well and achieved good marks.
You can take all of the courses taught to you in high school over four years and that will compare to what will be expected of you to learn in one semester in medical school. If you haven’t been a serious student with excellent study habits, you won’t cut it in med school.
