Certificates are usually useless.

Like if you paid me 10$ i could make up a certificate and call it the “laneybeans certificate of… “fill in the blank”

It may or may not mean something to the “real” world.

A technical program is an entire program where an actual degree is granted.

The terms used in USA or Europe might mean much the same as in UK, if a little different. If someone offered me a certificate program I’d expect a college course with a recognised certificate at the end of it, not some junk quickie offered in the post and you don’t know who is offering the award or how widely it is taken notice of by those in the know. The technical program – I suppose that means a question: how technical do you want to get?

Employment Services offered me a course and a certificate, someone stole my portfoio of work, and what I’ve learnt since is almost out of date – but not quite. I can still offer quite a few tips on how to make a website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic graphics. Flash is more up to date and fashionable, but some people still find it expensive and it still takes a longer time to load the pages for some people.

So anyway, good luck with your courses, you may be a high flier – in computer studies, or engineering even, perhaps!

My website offers a little help with simple HTML checking and graphics color design those who log on, but if you want to go further, know your basics and seek progress and solutions for humanity in the best way, taking time for rest and well-being.
