-Take good notes during class.

-Read the chapter thoroughly after class and add to your notes.

– type up all the terms and definitions in a list and study those.

– do any problems that are in the end of the chapter.

– skim through the chapter again, looking at the subheadings. read the subheading and then try to say everything you know about that particular topic. if you forget something, jot it down and reread that section.

Studying is tough but the best way to remember something is go over the material several times and in different ways (i.e., skim, make a list of definitions, say it out loud, etc.)
