This is the 3rd time I got the PEOPLE TO PEOPLE STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM invitation?

I need someone to really explain this to me.

It says that I would be going to Spain, France, and Italy for 20 days.

Why was I elected? Because I’m in Honor Roll or NHS Officer or something?

I reserved a seat at the meeting next month.

Questions: (Please answer all and number them. Thanks. lol.)

1. What exactly is it?

2. Would I just leave from my state and go to Europe?

3. Does it cost $? I’m very close to POOR. I have a single mother and a brother – we are not even close to rich. Athough, I managed to save $1035 the past 2 years for college. We live on welfare.

4. Can my MOTHER go with me or is this just a student thing?

5. I would stay in a hotel right? And not in somebody’s house? lol.

6. …. I would appreciate it if you told me your experience.

Thanks!

Its not free but it might help you get recognized for scholarships for college. Your mom doesn’t go overseas with you.

Take your mom to the meeting and check it out. You don’t’ have to say yes. Your school may find someone to help you with the cost.

It’s a good program but I don’t think you are nominated for it. I believe the People to People program gets your information from the school you attend.

The program costs lots of money: between $2000 – $3000 for a two-week journey to Europe.

Read about it at the following site:

Best of luck to you.
